Helmet Camera Connections

 

Connecting the bullet camera to a camcorder is simple.  Just ensure your camcorder has AV IN. (no, not DV IN)

The bullet camera (and mic) requires 12V power.

 

 

 

Typical set up with Camcorder

Camcorder used as example - (Sony TRV 20)

1. Sony provide the cable to connect to the camcorder

2. BNC Phono (supplied by RF Concepts) connects to bullet camera.

Yellow to Video, and white/red for optional mic(s)

bullet

3. The DC plug connects to 12V power supply.  Optional battery pack AA will work for about 10 hours

bullet

4. The optional mic(s) connects to the cable on the camcorder

bullet

4. Set camera to playback and you have PICTURE and SOUND!!

5. Now record!

Connecting the bullet camera now takes over the function of the camcorders own lens.

Your camcorder can now be protected!

(battery pack- 8 x AA batteries)

Bullet camera connected to mini 9V battery

(must be rechargable Ni-cad or Nimh)

Shows connection to camcorder cable and microphone

Bullet camera connected to camcorder and battery pack

Complete connection to camcorder- camera and mic
